WHAT IS BROADBAND?
Broadband is a transmission method for sending and receiving data, usually associated with a way of connecting a computer to the internet.

Broadbands greater capacity for the transmission of data than a standard a dial up connection means that it can support many data—streams at once, such as voice (i.e. your telephone), video (your cable TV) and data (your internet connection). As a result it is a much faster way of accessing the internet - allowing you view webpages, download files and receive emails almost in an instant.
